MOT

Perhaps one of the most important tests that need to be performed on your vehicle every year is your MOT.

MOT’s are a legal requirement in the UK. Currently, all vehicles aged three years and over must be tested every year. The annual testing of your vehicle is to ensure it meets minimum road safety standards. MOT tests can be carried out on your vehicle up to 30 days prior to its current expiry date.

All MOT’s are carried out off-site, so are completely impartial.

If your vehicle fails the MOT test, we offer 10 working days to get it repaired for a free retest. We will be more than happy to carry out any repairs you require. Items tested and checked include:

• Exhaust and emissions
• Seats and seat belts
• Doors, bonnet and boot operation
• Visual and computerised efficiency check for brakes
• Wheels and tyres
• Registration plates

• Electrical items including certain dashboard warning lights.

An MOT test does not include any dismantling of the vehicle or check many items on your vehicle e.g. engine and gearbox condition.
